Everyone failed the hunter exam in the middle of our episode! What do we do for the next ~140 episodes? Or, maybe they don't? Guess not, since we still have several eps of the exam left. Then everyone ends up in a blimp, and Gon and Killua (Kahlua? Killooha?) get their asses kicked by an old man, but just for fun. Then they drop everyone off at a jail tower for the Nonary Games! We are trapped in Trick Tower, of which there is an ethical question buried in there about prisons and danger, but we don't have time to ask those because LOOK! A FIRE! A SPIDER! A GIRL!!! We watched eps 9 to 12 of the show, and at least 3 of the eps were good! And the second part of the terrible one was good! We also spend time talking about some fun similarities between Yu Yu Hakusho characters with our main cast
A good podcast would cut all interruptions and references to interruptions out; a great podcast would make sure you knew an interruption was taken out, and name its episode after the jokes made about the interruption.

Things get tense in this episode between Gon and Hisoka, but honestly not a whole lot happens? The first episode being a recap may be part of that!
